The Paths of History

For some studying the events of the past is a labor of love. The sense of discovery can be most exciting, but digging up roots can bring such a sensation of pride that one is actually elevated off their feet. History also lays out the patterns of human behavior. With that knowledge any culture can better prepare itself for the future. However, the lessons of history are most often repeated repeatedly.

U.S. History

1500-1776  1776-1778  1783-1860  1860-1900  1900-1940  1940-1950  1950-2000

TODAY

Without history a people are left with nothing. Many cultures base much upon their ancestors, but for those whose history has been hidden, unrecorded, or slanted the ancestral lines are blurred.

Wars and Conflicts

Civil War

World War One    Korean Conflict     Vietnam War    Gulf War

The education system that denies the truth is no error. The intention is to demoralize just as recommended by William Lynch during his James River address. Black Americans place great store upon anything that is white because they know so little about anything that is black. The absence of history paves the way for a people to want to immolate what should be disposed. This dilemma remains one of the largest obstacles to the development of the black community. Regrettably many black people face each day angry for being cursed with color. They look upon those of European extraction as if they are some master race born with entitlements denied lesser beings. Hogwash, but prevalent.

Slavery

You want to make someone uncomfortable at a social gathering? Bring slavery into the conversation. Both blacks and whites avoid the subject, but the reality is that much of our social relationships today are based upon the relationship between master and slave. Many majority people see themselves as "masters", and all others are some subhuman species.

Black Americans refuse to do business with other blacks, but fail to recognize that their actions play into the hands of those that would see them again enslaved. Like the Cherokees, blacks make every effort to be as white as they can be without realizing they are becoming their own enemy.

World History

History can prove to be the most effective weapon against future bigotry. Imagine a world where all people respected each other based upon an understanding of the historical evidence that we need each other to survive.

The Mystery

GOD  Education  Racism Politics  Victims U.S. History

Commentary

Pride is one's heritage is not racism. There is no malice associated with drawing strength from cultural accomplishments. It is attitudes of superiority that germinate racism. This foolishness of some divine status based upon the luck of the draw. By looking through the window of history the future can be determined.
