Midnight DJ Links Page, and Black American History

Links Page Updated Tuesday, July 26, 2005

The LINKS PAGE provides you with a variety of Internet links to sites that carry a variety of information. The advertisement banners are links also that take you to the associated site. If you enjoy surfing you should have a ball here; if not see ya later.

STOP THE HATE is a new web site that brings a message worth passing on. The Tulsa Riots link you to stories and photographs surrounding the infamous Tulsa Riot of June 1, 1921. 4 Little Girls takes you to a site devoted to the tragic murder of four innocent girls by southern racists in 1963. Note that the links begin with STOP THE HATE because that is what it's going to take. However, knowing factual history, or to explore one's heritage is not an act of hate, but merely seeking earthly knowledge. Slanted History has done a great injustice to many selected groups of minorities. Here we hope to set the record straight because the bed of hate is ignorance.

TRUTH will always prevail. History teaches us that repeatedly. There are no wrongs that are not set right in time. One day we will all, those willing to spend some time researching, learn the answers to all of our questions. Who was really behind the assassinations of John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Malcolm X,  and Martin Luther King? How involved was the United States Central Intelligence Agency is the importation of cocaine into American cities? Who was Nancy Hanks? Were Tom and Sally a couple? What role did Secretary of War Stanton have in the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. Was President Harding black? Oh, we all have our list of unanswered questions. Maybe some of these links will help you find the answers you are looking for; at least from an historical perspective.

The brain is like a muscle that requires exercise to gain strength. From the time we rested in our mothers our brains have been collecting, storing, and applying data. However, for some of us, the absorption rate is really low. Those that don't read, write, participate, or support. They just suck up air. The links below are links to a better understanding of a particular area of focus, or some great on-line resources.

One of the many advantages associated with being a citizen of the United States of America is certainly the space to raise your voice. The VOTE is the loudest voice, but the Internet does provide us with the ways and means to communicate in a more direct manner with those that govern us. Long sentence, real fact. The Internet, in itself, will bring about a tremendous change in how the elected communicate with the electorate. There is, and will continue to be, a greater level of accountability. An accountability that would be risky to ignore because of the communication capabilities the Internet provides. The responsibility for communication rests within you, the citizen. It is your decision if you chose to participate in your government, or be simply governed.

In addition to voting a citizen must also consider military service. Currently in the United States of America there is no draft. Military is voluntary and necessary for growth of character and national safety.
